SWTOR Droid Recon Achievement Guides

The Droids You're Looking For is an achievement in Star Wars: The Old Republic that tasks players with finding The Shroud's hidden Recon Droids on a wide range of planets. With a pair of Macrobinoculars the concealed Recon Droids can be scanned and identified in specific locations throughout the galaxy. This guide lists all known Recon Droid locations and provides the information needed to complete the achievement efficiently.

The Achievement can be found in your Legacy (Y) > Location > General > Macrobinoculars.

In order to begin your search for the Shroud's hidden Recon Droids you have to first engage with the Macrobinocular Mission you pick up on the Fleet. (This mission can also be picked up on Makeb and the Capital Planets)

You can use the Macrobinoculars to discover the Recon Droids as you follow trail of the Macrobinocular Mission either by the icon next to mission on your HUB or by dragging the binoculars from the Mission Item's tab in your inventory onto your Quickbar.

If you go searching for the Recon Droids after you completed the Macrobinocular Mission, you can right-click the binoculars in your Mission Item's tab and they will be transferred to your "Abilities" window as a permanent item, which can also be dragged to your Quickbar for easy use.

Once you have found all the Recon Droids on all the planets, including those that are faction specific, you will have completed the "The Droids You're Looking For" achievement. To earn the MCR-100 Miniprobe Pet you must complete all of the Faction specific planets on that Character. About 30 min later, you will be graced with a Mail from an "Admirer" delivering you your new Pet.
You must repeat this on all the characters you wish to unlock the pet on.
