SWTOR Thermal Regulator Unit Mission Guide

This guide will help you through the "Thermal Regulator Unit" mission, the second part of a long series of quests that are required for the Kessan's Landing Datacron achievement in SWTOR.

Datacrons are collectables scattered around the galaxy in Star Wars: The Old Republic. Each Datacron contributes towards your Legacy's passive stats permanently. Furthermore, they also provide interesting Lore and Codex Entries about the Old Republic era.

This quest is a continuation from the Schematic Aspirations quest.

Pick up Thermal Regulator Unit from the Geothermal Research Repository terminal inside the Runoff Control in the south of Ardak Point.
Note: If you haven't already, you might as well pick up Advanced Hypercoolant and High-Grade Durasteel while you're here anyways. You will need to do these two quests as well.

Travel to the Iokath Expanse, and please note that you can only travel to this "planet" once you have at least begun the Fractured Alliances questline. Here you have to loot 5 Logic Units from Scour Swarms, 3 Thermal Paste from Probe Droids and 3 Monitors from Caretaker Droids. You will have no trouble finding these weak enemies all over the Iokath Expanse.

Once you've looted all components, take the tram to the Weapons Factory.

Find your way to the nothern circular room and fabricate a Thermal Regulator Unit in one of the clickable Fabricators.

Follow the quest marker south in the Weapons Factory. Once you get close enough to the electrified batteries, click the Temporary Ability that pops up called Hypercharge Unity.

Exit the Weapons Factory through the tram out into Iokath Expanse once again. Now you have to use one of the Transporters in order to expose the Regulator Unit to Transduction Rays. It doesn't matter which one you use.

You are now finding yourself in the Superweapon Command Center area, where you have to take the tram further into the actual SuperWeapon Command Center.

Inside the Superweapon Command Center, run past the throne to the back of it. Click the Root Computational Access Port to sync your Thermal Regulator Unit's instruction sets.

You can return to Kessan's Landing to verify, even before you have completed Advanced Hypercoolant and High-Grade Durasteel, or you can wait and return with all three missions to verify.
