SWTOR Nar Shaddaa (Republic) Presence Datacron Location Guide

The Presence Datacron increases the effectiveness of your companion. It will grant you Presence +3 to your permanent stats along with codex: Galactic History 35: The Gank Massacres. There are 5 Datacrons in total located on the planet of Nar Shaddaa.
Note: You can collect them on either Republic or Imperial Side as they count towards the same achievement.

Datacrons are collectables scattered around the galaxy in Star Wars: The Old Republic. Each Datacron contributes towards your Legacy's passive stats permanently. Furthermore, they also provide interesting Lore and Codex Entries about the Old Republic era.

Starting coordinates: 3445, -3522.

This Datacron is located high up on a catwalk above the Concourse party area of the Red Light Sector. You have to take the elevator to a Heroic area to get to the Datacron's location, so I recommend going on Stealth Character.

Once you're inside the Gauntlet Gang Area, turn right and make your way to the south area. Climb the pile of garbage and bench to get to the small wall mount at which the canopy is attached.

Climb onto the canopy and follow it all the way up to the Plaza Walkway.

As soon as you get up onto the walkway, you will see an elevator slightly to the left.

Take this elevator to Red Light Sector Catwalks.

You can see the shimmer from the Datacron as soon as you load in, so simply follow this catwalk to its location.

This will grant you Presence +3 to your permanent stats along with codex: Galactic History 35: The Gank Massacres.

This datacron holds unheard of power and knowledge collected by an ancient race. You access its power and discover writings which are clearly only one small piece of a massive galactic history:

Addicted to the spice ryll--which drove them into a murderous frenzy--the Porporite species had become a threat to the galaxy. The Neimoidians had a monopoly on ryll and, terrified of the coming Porporite swarm, turned to the Ganks to stop the Porporites quickly.

The Ganks were mysterious, cybernetic mercenaries that often worked for the Hutts. With the Ganks' reputation as cold-blooded killers, the Neimoidians were confident they could handle the Porporite armies. But the Ganks' solution was to eliminate the entire Porporites species, and they hunted the Porporites to extinction.

Encouraged by this "success," the Ganks began wiping out other species, quickly becoming a far greater threat than the Porporites. The Jedi took up arms against them, but Supreme Chancellor Vocatara was forced to commission the first juggernaut droids to end the Gank menace for good.
