SWTOR Data Mining Achievement Guide

The Data Mining achievement in Star Wars: The Old Republic is a lighthearted nod to the practice of uncovering hidden game data, humorously described with the tagline "You've Seen Too Much". To earn this achievement, players must locate and defeat a series of rogue data-gathering droids scattered across the galaxy. These droids range from standard weak enemies found in the open world to tougher opponents hidden within Flashpoints, World Boss encounters, and even an Operation boss. This guide provides the exact locations and details for each target to help you efficiently complete the Data Mining achievement and uncover what you were never meant to see.

This Achievement can be found in your Legacy (Y) - Location - General - Exploration (Hidden).

Battledroid R4-GL

The first droid on the list in Nar Shaddaa's World Boss found in Network Security District.
The easiest way to defeat R4-GL is joining a group either during the Feast of Prosperity event running throughout October or whenever it's part of Galactic Seasons objectives.

This is the same area you can find the Renegade Security and Astromech Droids.

Beharen Security Droid

You will find the Beharen Security Droids quite rarely. They will be the toughest to find, because they usually will only be found in a fresh instance. They will be located in a fenced area in Labor Valley on Corellia, behind a group of Damaged Scanner and Security Droids.
Remember that the elite Beharen Striker Droids does not count! It has to be the weak Beharen Droids. Possibly even try the PvP instance.

Beserk Czerka Droid

Inside the forsaken Czerka Dig Site far into the Dune Sea on Tatooine, you will find the Beserk Czerka Droid.

Damaged Scanner & Security Droid

You can find the Damaged Scanner and Security Droids in front of a fenced area in Labor Valley on Corellia. This is the same area you can find the very rare Beharen Security Droids.

Data Core

Gather your friends for the next one. The Data Core is part of the Terror From Beyond Operation. More specifically the Operator IX boss fight.

EN-4C

Another opportunity to gather your friends or join Group Finder. EN-4C is part of the Officer Xander boss fight in the Cademimu Flashpoint.

HyperMatter Sentinel Droid

Patrolling the crumbling streets of The Black Hole on Corellia, you will find the HyperMatter Sentinel Droid.

Mentor

Mentor is thestatic final boss fight in the Directive 7 Flashpoint, which can be done Solo or as a group.

Operator IX

Operator IX is the final form in the boss fight of the same name in Terror From Beyond operation, the same fight you deal with the Data Core. Bring friends!

Renegade Astromech & Security Droid

The weak Renegade enemies surrounding the area where you find the Nar Shaddaa World Boss Battledroid R4-GL in Network Security District, are the droids you're looking for this time. They will often be part of the Feast of Prosperity event as well, if that is the route you'll take.
