SWTOR Ossus Red Mastery Datacron Location Guide

The Red Mastery Datacron increases your aptitude in combat, allowing you to do more damage. It will grant you Mastery +6 to your permanent stats along with codex: Odan-Urr. There are 3 Datacrons in total located on the planet of Ossus.

Datacrons are collectables scattered around the galaxy in Star Wars: The Old Republic. Each Datacron contributes towards your Legacy's passive stats permanently. Furthermore, they also provide interesting Lore and Codex Entries about the Old Republic era.

Starting coordinates: 916, -270.

This Datacron is located on top of some ruins in Ancient Ruins. This is a semi difficult jumping puzzle and I definitely recommend doing this on a smaller size character, because the path will be narrow. The cave entrance is located in a tunnel that can be entered from both sides.

Climb the steps to the right and get to the entrance of a narrow cave. Be careful not to jump too much on your climb here, since the wall to the right is slightly protruding so that you will bounce from hitting the wall.

Follow the steps inside the cave until you get to a dead end with a column at the end, then climb the rocks to the right of the column, then to the top of the column and so on all the way up to the top.

Coming outside, turn left straight away and follow the fallen column up.

Stay left and hug the wall until you reach the gap before the ruins.

It might be helpful to be on a mount for the jump.

This will grant you Mastery +6 to your permanent stats along with codex: Odan-Urr.

This datacron holds unheard of power and knowledge collected by an unknown individual. You access its power and discover information unknown to many:

Odan-Urr, Jedi Master and founder of the Great Jedi Library of Ossus, was one of the order's most famous and long-lived members. Although he participated in some of the most decisive battles of his time, Odan-Urr preferred the life of an academic, overseeing the library's Chamber of Antiquities for centuries until he was slain by Exar Kun shortly before the cataclysm inflicted by the Cron Supernova.

Of his many accomplishments, perhaps the most influential of Odan-Urr's works was his revised version of the Jedi Code, which he created in response to the struggles of his pupils to fully understand and embrace what it meant to be a Jedi. Odan-Urr's revised wording of the code became the definitive version, taught and recited by Jedi ever since.
