SWTOR Balmorra (Republic) Blue Mastery Datacron Location Guide

The Blue Mastery Datacron increases your aptitude in combat, allowing you to do more damage. It will grant you Mastery +4 to your permanent stats along with codex: Galactic History 53: The Conclave at Deneba. There are 5 Datacrons in total located on the planet of Balmorra.

Datacrons are collectables scattered around the galaxy in Star Wars: The Old Republic. Each Datacron contributes towards your Legacy's passive stats permanently. Furthermore, they also provide interesting Lore and Codex Entries about the Old Republic era.

Starting coordinates: 331, 18.

This Datacron is located on a broken bridge in Bugtown which is your starting area of Balmorra. You will need to buy an item called Lost Code Cylinder to open the crate the Datacron is locked inside of. This is the exact same as theĀ Imperial Purple Mastery Datacron, so be sure you are on the correct faction.

There's a lone vendor to the south-east of Bugtown you have to visit first.

This vendor sells the Lost Code Cylinder for 5000 credits. If you travel as a group, only one needs to purchase this.

When going back to Bugtown, you can see the Datacron inside a Space Chest on the other side of a broken bridge. It is plausible to jump over the bridge on a mount.

If you miss the jump you have to go around following the dotted path.

Now simply right click it to use the Lost Code Cylinder to unlock the crate and open for the Datacron.

This will grant you Mastery +4 to your permanent stats along with codex: Galactic History 53: The Conclave at Deneba.

This datacron holds unheard of power and knowledge collected by an ancient race. You access its power and discover writings which are clearly only one small piece of a massive galactic history:

The Sith Krath cult had become a menace, attempting to seize the Empress Teta system and repelling a Republic fleet. Knowing the shadow of the dark side lay over the Krath, the Jedi called a conclave on the planet Deneba to discuss their next course of action. Ulic Qel-Droma suggested a risky plan: infiltrating the Krath from within.

Many disagreed, believing such a course was reckless and dangerous. During the debate, the gathering was ambushed by Krath war droids. The Jedi rallied and managed to fight the droids off, but among the casualties was one of the Jedi's wisest Masters. Arca Jeth was dead.

Ulic Qel-Droma, Arca Jeth's student, was devastated by his death. Full of grief and hatred for the Krath, Ulic swore to destroy the cultists, not seeing that his desire for revenge was leading him down a dangerous path.
